CODE RED 57 CHEVY
Finishing another season at Santapod racing in street eliminator. Cars have to be fully road legal, race in street trim qualify with sub 13.5s pass and complete a mandatory street cruise at each event in order to race. Long story short I'm part of the code red racing 57 chevy team which I believe is now the quickest street legal 57 chevy in Europe and also the quickest 0-60mph street car in the UK on draggy with a rapid 1.51s, not bad considering its still soft on the hit, on a street tyre and at the time, running on vpower!
Not only that but almost in the 1 second zone for 100-200 (2.33) with pretty tame boost ramps completing the 1/4 mile in 7.88 seconds! Now that is wild for a 3600lb brick that actually drove there and back.. Of Corse this unit runs a crs race fab custom turbo kit bolted to a 8.8ltr big block chevy controlled by fueltech ft550 management that makes well over 2000hp on 30psi.
We will be back next year with some nice upgrades to try hit it harder out the hole, as the guy behind the keyboard I can already tell you we are far from done with pb's for this car!
